Touring the Battlefields of Northwest Europe on a Bespoke Tour

Like the majority of my competitors, I offer standard battlefield tour packages that show people the sites of D-Day, Ypres, The Somme, Waterloo, Arnhem, Vimy Ridge, etc. I offer six set date tours each year aimed at taking people to the battlefield sites on or close to the anniversary date of the battle. My Battlefield Tours 4u website also offers a range of set itinerary tours that have flexible dates and hotel grades.

What relatively few battlefield tour operators do however is a “truly bespoke tour service” whereby they put together a tour with their customer to ensure that the customer gets to see what they want rather than just what the tour operator wants to show them. Such a service is a partnership between the customer and tour operator/guide determining what can be seen in the time set aside to allow the customer to achieve their aim. I have been fortunate enough to take customers to visit the battlefields where their father or grandfather fought. I have taken others to the grave of an ancestor and shown them the place where their ancestor fought and died. Others have wanted to see the places where their own regiments fought and so on. I have even taken veterans back to the places where they fought and lost friends.

The key to a truly bespoke battlefield service is defining what you the customer would like to do or what you want to achieve. This is unique and individual to each customer, but in general the following gives a good basis from which to work.

What is the purpose of the tour?

What is it you the customer would like to do or achieve? For example do you want to: -

1. Visit the grave of an ancestor, relative or particular person?

2. See the place where that person fought and was perhaps wounded or died (if this can indeed be established)?

3. Understand the battle in which they fought?

4. Get a better understanding of the war in which they fought?

5. Want to see the place in which a particular unit fought?

6. Follow the progress of a particular unit during a campaign?

The list is almost endless, but in short it is what you the customer wants to do that matters.

Where do you want to go?

This sounds easy, but this may not necessarily be the case. It is linked closely with the purpose of the tour, but can include places to enhance understanding that do not directly relate to an ancestor’s, relative’s or particular unit’s war.

How long do you want to go for?

You are in charge and can determine the length of your tour, but beware a word of caution here. Make sure that the time is sufficient to achieve your aim and get around the tour locations, but not too long so that you get “toured out”. By this I mean the days start to merge into one and the places you are visiting no longer have a meaning. The great thing about a truly bespoke tour is it remains flexible and if this happens you can take a break, reorganise the schedule or whatever else you and the tour guide jointly decide.

Where do you want to be picked-up and dropped-off?

This needs to be agreed before going on the tour as it has a bearing on the tour cost. I have picked people up from their homes, met them at the UK Ferry Port, at the hotel, an airport and more. I have agreed different pick-up and drop-off locations where asked. If the pick-up and drop-off points are on my route (or close by) I do not normally charge for this, but if additional mileage is involved or the location involves an overnight stay then a charge is made. Each tour operator is different so make sure you check this out.

What standard of accommodation do you want?

You can set the standard; I can normally arrange anything from self-catering to a five Star Chateau Hotel. You can of course specify that the tour guide stays with you, but don’t expect them to cook if its self-catering (I am not a good cook and do not want to poison my guests). Often the tour guide will stay in the same place if it is within their budget. I normally stay in the same hotel so that I am available for my guests should they want to see me or nearby if the cost is greater than my budget allows. I have stayed in more expensive hotels when my guests have decided that this is what they want provided they pick-up the additional cost.

What meals do you want to include in the price?

A good tour operator should be able to arrange a tour that includes no meals, breakfast only, half board, full board or all-inclusive. Make sure you agree with the tour operator before going on the tour just what is included. Is it just meals, or is wine provided with dinner, or no drinks, or include all drinks, etc. If meals are inclusive decide whether or not you wish the tour guide to dine with you (providing they are staying in the same hotel). I normally give my customers the choice, but even where it has been agreed that we dine apart within a day or so this seems to change as we continue to discuss things once back at the hotel and then over dinner. Please don’t forget that the tour guide will need some admin time to prepare for the following day, top up on supplies, etc.

Do you want museum fees included?

You can have museum entrance fees included in the price of your tour or you can pay on the door as you go in. Make sure you agree this with the tour operator before you go. I normally include these within the price as standard, but others may not.

What about refreshments whilst travelling around the battlefield?

This can include light refreshments and snacks carried in the vehicle or regular stops to allow you to purchase your own. The choice again is very much the customer’s. I normally carry a cooler-box with drinks as a minimum, but this will vary from one tour operator to another.

The list can go on, but I think you will have got the gist of what I am trying to say.

My best advice is if you want to do something different from a standard tour talk to a professional. They will tell you whether or not they can do it, if they can great, if they can’t you can decide to go elsewhere or even follow an alternative if it is offered. You can of course talk to a number of tour operators about your proposed tour, but please do not string them along, as organising a bespoke tour can be very time consuming. They may also turn down another tour based upon your enquiry and if you decide not to use them they will have missed out on another opportunity. This is after all their livelihood and they need to make a living so please be fair.

My final point is that a truly bespoke service puts you in charge and we the tour operators should be facilitators to enable you to do it. I believe that I like the other truly bespoke tour operators do.

Jamaica Tours: A Great Way to Spend Your Trip

Are you in the process of planning a trip to Jamaica? If so, the first step is to make your travel arrangements. Book your airline reservations and a stay at an affordable, yet luxury all-inclusive resort. After these travel arrangements are made, take the time to research area activities and attractions. All-inclusive resorts are designed so that you never have to leave to have a good time, but Jamaica is an island that has so much to offer. Get out and see it. One of the best ways to do so is with a tour.

When it comes to Jamaica tours, you have many options. In fact, you may want to try them all. So, what should you do?

One popular tour is a sunset Jamaica boat tour. These tours are available all across the island. Most tours start around 4pm and conclude after sunset. The sunset of Jamaica is beautiful no matter where you view it from, but why not be on the water in a luxurious boat or yacht? Many sunset boat tours also double as dinner cruises. Depending on the company hosting the tour, dinner may be included in the cost of reservations.

Another popular Jamaica tour is that of a river tour. The Black River is Jamaica’s largest river. One tour offered by JLT Tours takes you six miles up the river and back. The boat caption provides you with detailed information on the land and the history behind it along the way. This type of tour of tour is ideal for those who not only want to see beautiful landscape, but learn about it.

If you want to enjoy a Jamaica tour, but step off a bus or a boat, opt for an ATV tour. One tour, known as the Ocho Rios ATV Safari tour, last two hours long and takes you on a journey you will never forget. The tour begins at a local farm, where all tourists undergo a short safety training session. Next, the adventure begins as you drive an ATV along beautiful scenery. Depending on the location in question, you may travel along a riverbed, the coast, underneath treetop canopies and more.

Most Jamaica tours call for travel by foot or boat, but there are tours available by horseback. Most of these Jamaica tours double as ride and swim tours. For example, your day will start with a horseback ride along scenic trails. Towards the end of the tour, you and your horse will step into the Caribbean Sea! This Jamaica tour is ideal for any type of trip, but perfect for honeymoons and romantic getaways.

A unique, but adventurous Jamaica tour is that of a canopy tour. Have you ever wanted to feel like Tarzan? As silly as it sounds, you can with a canopy tour. With adequate safety gear, you can swing between trees and different platforms. This tour is perfect for those looking to see the unseen sights of Jamaica or those with an adventurous side. The tour begins with a safety demonstration and there is a safety guide by your side at all times.

Day tours are also popular in Jamaica. These tours combine many of the above mentioned activities into one. For example, your tour can start with breakfast in a Jamaican café, include a jeep tour along the scenic coast, lunch, a stop for a dive in the refreshing Caribbean waters, an afternoon of shopping at authentic Jamaican shops, dinner, and close with an breathtaking view of the sunset along the coast. Day cruises do take up more time, but well worth it if you don’t mind spending the day away from your all-inclusive resort.

When choosing a Jamaica tour to enjoy on your all-inclusive Caribbean vacation, take a number of factors into consideration. First is cost. You will pay more for a day tour than a two hour boat cruise. Next, consider age. If traveling to Jamaica on a family vacation, your tour options are limited. Tourists must be at least 16 years of age to participate in horseback riding tours, ATV tours, and canopy tours.

It is easy to find Jamaica tours in or around resort communities. In fact, your all-inclusive resort may offer these tours or partner with a well-known tour guide or company locally. You should research tours before leaving for your trip. For that reason, call your resort ahead of time and see if they have any suggestions. Some Jamaica tour companies operate on a first come first serve basis, but most require reservations.

Kenya Animal Tour

Kenya wildlife is found in the most natural parks you will find in Africa. The Kenya wildlife is mostly found within the boundaries of national parks and reserves. These are wilderness araeas that have been set aside for the purposes of wildlife conservation. Each of these kenya national animal parks has its own characteristic and kenya travellers are better off sampling each and every park on its own.

The parks range from the snow –capped mountains to the low savannah grasslands; from the scenic knuckle shaped ranges of the aberdares national park to the rough arid national parks of samburu, shaba and buffalo springs;from the undulating picturesque landscape of the rift valley to the central green and lush central kenya highlands;from the white powdery sandy beaches with turquoise colored water to the inland blue-green crater lakes.

The kenya tour wildlife found in these parks is equally diverse as the vegetation and landscape in these Africa kenya national parks. The Kenya mountain parks host a unique array of wildlife including the rare giant forest hog, the extremely rare, shy and endangered bongo, the magnificent and rare black coated mountain leopard, the african lynx, the smaller mountain elephant, the african lion, duikers among many others.

Kenya north parks are famous for their rather different animals some of which are among the most endangered and rare species including the rothschild giraffe, the beisa oryx and the kenya grevy’s zebra. Other animals in north kenya tour parks include the african lion animal, the cheetah animal, leopard, elephants, buffalo, gerenuk, water bucks, common zebra, coke’s hertebeest, birds among others.

Masai Mara Migration Tour In Kenya Africa

This article would not be complete if mention was not made of most popular Kenya national park. The Masai mara Kenya is by far the best national park/reserve. Forming only a smaller section of the vast Serengeti plains in tanzania, the masai mara is by far the most famous Kenyan national park. The kenya masai mara is located in the southern kenya tourism circuit right in the midst of the kenya masai warrior country.

The vast savannah landscape with unending vistas of grass velds supports the highest numbers of wildlife in kenya. The panoramic and usually breathtaking golden plains are home to Kenya’s most wide variety of plains game, predators, amphibians and reptiles. One of the masai mara wildlife best advantage is the ease at which seeing the wildlife affords. It matters little the gate that you access the masai mara national reserve through. The mara wildlife starts right at the entrance all the way to your lodge.

I must say the number of african lions you see will leave you satiated and full of glee. It is only in the masai mara that a herd of elephants will graze 1 foot away from your tour van window, a pride of lion will lie beside your vehicle for that welcome shade and a female cheetah will mount on your car’s bonnet or roof for the vantage view of prey or even better an african lion’s kill of a zebra happening right next to your vehicle. The perfect kenya animal tour climax and Kenya photographic tour closure.

By far, the most spectacular of all masai mara kenya tour attractions remains the mammoth wildebeest migration through plains and rivers in the masai mara. Driven by the sheer will to get to fresher grass fields and the annual difference of rains cycle in the masai mara and the serengeti plains, the wildebeest cover over 1000km of wilderness in a non-defined circle to reach the fresh grass. The masai mara wildebeest migrate accompanied by an army of zebras and other plains game. The kenya migration tour in masai mara is such a huge phenomenon that satellites in space pick it up as a real time moving mass of black shade on the screen.

The wildebeest migration tour in masai mara involves over 1.5 million gnus accompanied by atleast a quarter of a million zebras. Since food is moving, the predators, including the awesome african lion accompany the blue wildebeest across valleys, velds and rivers as they eat the weak and lost in the africa’s grandest wildlife march. Nothing is as breathtaking as observing the wildbeest rivercrossings in the masai mara. Accumilating in their thousands on the first masai mara river bank, hesitant of taking the first leap, the front line are eventually forced by the pushing rear mass of thousands of wildebeest into the river.

That first leap into the nile crocodile infested river prompts the trepidation-filled 5 feet leaps of the gnu into the river, desparate to overcome the treacherous mara river crossing to the promised land. The sheer numbers of the fearfull, leaping and kicking wildebeest catches the crocodile by surprise forcing them to give way from the stampede and guaranteed death from trampling.

The carnage of the river crossing, even without the help from crocodiles in the masai mara river result mainly from the stampede drowning and breaking the spines of others already in the river. This keeps the crocs happy for the next month or two. I gues they must be impatiently watching their calendars by now for the next annual wildbeest migration in the masai mara. So intense is the moment of a masai mara wildebeest river crossing that the splash into the water sounds like a thousand raging waterfalls. You really don’t want to miss a wildebeest masai mara river crossing !

Arranging for your kenya africa animal tour is easy with an experienced tour operator in kenya. Most of the bookings for the masai mara have to be done a year to six months in advance as the masai mara lodges tend to fill up 3 full months to the Africa Kenya migration season. So have your kenya animal tour bookings dne in advance.

Doing Your Kenya Tour Research on the Internet

Well not everyone who comes to kenya goes for the wildebeest migration tour. In most cases travellers to kenya will be driven by a variety of motivations and in need to see a diverse array of attractions. Holiday Invitations for Christmas, Halloween, Mardi Gras, New Years and More!

Christmas Holiday Invitations and Business Holiday Cards!

One of the best things about the holidays is getting together with your friends and family members to celebrate. Whether you have a grand dinner party for the entire clan or you keep things simple with dinner at a great restaurant for your immediate family, everything starts with those all-important Christmas Holiday Invitations. While getting together thanks to Business Holiday Cards can be a great experience, if you’re attempting to change traditions or to start a new one you may want to plan ahead so there is no confusion.

As you are browsing the more popular holiday websites you will discover in style and unique holiday invites to inform your friends and family of the holiday occasion to celebrate the best times of the year!

Generally, these holidays are divided into the following categories:· Business Holiday Invitations· Christmas Invitations Cards· Easter Invitations · Halloween Invitations Cards · Hanukkah Invitations · Mardi Gras Invitations Cards · New Years Invitations · Oktoberfest Invitations · Picnic Family Reunion Invitations · Holiday Photo Invitations · St Patricks Invitations · Thanksgiving Invitations cards · Holiday Thank You Cards · Valentines Cards Invitations

The Early Holiday Invitation – During most holidays, those last few days or weeks are often the most hectic so you don’t want to wait until the last minute to let people know you’re having a get together. You should probably send Holiday Cards at least three to four weeks in advance. If you’re worried that people will forget because of the advance notice, make sure to follow-up with all of the recipients about a week before. You can always say you want to double check your RSVP list if you need an excuse. Now if you’re only sending a holiday invite to a traditional get together you can bypass the advance notification and stick to the normal two week rule. However, you might want to start spreading information about the date a little before getting the invitations in the mail. There’s nothing wrong with passing around information in advance.

Be careful though if you are making any changes to that traditional event, such as a change of location, you want to let people know in advance and be sure to follow-up about the change. Imagine what might happen if one of your guests doesn’t get the memo and ends up at the wrong place or shows up on the wrong day. That’s something a good host wants to avoid at all costs. Other Tips – Make sure you talk to the rest of your family prior to making the decision to start some new type of tradition. That way you can avoid scheduling conflicts and fine out how others feel about the idea.

Don’t start sending out personalized business holiday cards until you’ve had a chance to have this conversation with a good portion of your family. Even if they like the idea, you have to make sure you’ve chosen a day that is going to work for many of your guests before mailing holidays invitations. You may also want to consider combining your holiday invitation with your traditional Christmas holiday cards. Not only will you save on postage but you can be sure to get the message to people early on. Remember you can send your holiday greeting cards right after Thanksgiving if you want to get a head start. Finally, if you’re going to be mailing holiday wedding invitations it’s a good idea to start by sending save-the-date-cards for your event at least three to four months in advance.

While that may seem like a lot of notice, remember you’ll be competing with plenty of others. You can browse through the large assortments of holiday invitation and holiday thank you cards for every occasion, all unique and customizable to fit your needs! Search the wide selection of cards now and start making memories that will last a lifetime!

You should look to one of the leaders in online Christmas holiday invitations, announcements and business holiday cards store to ensure you receive all the advantages in shopping online, such as: · Personalize Your Christmas Party Invitations, and then Instantly Preview it BEFORE You Buy! · After Completing Your Order, the Proof Should be Emailed to You Within ONE Hour, and There Should be Unlimited Revisions at NO Extra Costs · Print and Ship Your Order the Same Day You Approve the Final Proof · Free Shipping and Free Cards, with minimum quantity purchase · Unique and Exclusive Designs · Insert a Picture, Business Logo or Picture to any Card on their Site · Willing to Create a Design especially for you with minimum quantity order

How To Trigger Emotional Attraction With Women

Emotional attraction, sexual attraction and physical attraction are just some of the few attractions that you have heard of before. All these attraction are just part and parcel in the dating scene.

These attractions comes to you naturally so there is no need for you to feel worried if you think that you are unable to create any form of attraction with the woman you are talking to. However, there are actually ways on how to trigger emotional attraction with women. You will be surprised at how easy it is.

Emotional attraction is one of the reasons marriage lasts. It keeps the relationship going strong regardless of what the situation is. Yes, it is also the reason why long distance relationships work. Emotional attraction also results in “falling in love”. It might seem a little melodramatic; to be in and out of love, but emotional attraction does really exists.

Imagine. A gaze can be equivalent to a touch when you are emotionally attracted to the person. People who are emotionally attracted can talk to hours and never get bored of each other’s presence. They will feel sincere with their thoughts and feelings and would feel very comfortable chatting with you. By establishing emotional attraction, you are bringing Love to another dimension, and hence making the relationship last even longer.

Nuff said. Movies make falling in love seem all too easy. In reality, much more work is definitely needed to make sparks fly. But if you are man, then you must be very lucky. Women in general are pretty easy to please. With just a praise, you can leave a girl blushing.

The root of emotional attraction with women is to be the gentleman that every woman wants. Every guy sure has a soft side to him no matter how tough a man you are.

To be the ideal man, your body language, emotions and attitude matters a lot. Your self-confidence and attitude towards others things in life also plays an important role in establishing emotional attraction with women. No one likes to hang around with people who show introverted body language. Your body language should be one that encourages people to approach you.

A handshake, a smile or any small gesture can make a difference between positive and negative emotions. Positive emotional attitude will reward you with an aura of confidence and amiability, which is the key to any kind of attraction. Soon, you will be attracting girls like bees.

Emotional attraction cannot be really worked on. It is either you have it, or you don’t. You can however choose to be yourself and display positive attitude throughout. Positive attitude would also mean in terms of your language, behavior and attitude. Do this and you will be dripping with charm and women will start to trail after you.

Emotional attraction is a sacred attraction that is supposed to be shared between two special people. It is something that should not be taken lightly as emotional attraction can also lead to a lifetime commitment.

Share this emotional attraction with someone whom you think is your ideal partner, and enjoy the secrets of life together.

Kenya Tour Africa-kenya Tour: Top Kenya Beach, Animal, Park Tour

Kenya animal tour

The Kenya animal tour largely includes the search for the big five animals. These Kenya tours are packaged such that they highlight the animal parks in Kenya that feature the below African animals including the:

African lion safari tour in Kenya

Elephant animal Kenya tour

Rhino animal Kenya tour

Buffalo animal tour

Leopard animal Kenya tour

The above are the main big five most sought wildlife in Kenya and possibly the rest of Africa. The big five Kenya Africa animals are mostly found within Kenya national parks. This means that the Kenyan tour will unavoidably feature several national parks and game reserves in Kenya. Each of these Kenya tour national parks has different characteristics ad strengths as compared to others. While some will be strong in the diversity and density of Kenya wildlife, others will have more scenic attractions like mountains and lakes.

While other Kenya tour parks will have more of the plains game, others will feature massive populations of migratory and resident birds. There are Kenya Africa tour parks with small rivers while others will have huge rivers with many crocodiles, hippos and a snaking riverine system among grey and drab surrounding arid ecosystems. It is therefore highly advisable to sample at least three of the most popular animal parks in Kenya.

Other Kenya tour animals that attract an equally enthusiastic following are the plains game including the tallest giraffe, the warthog, elands, bushbucks, reedbucks, topi, gazelles, hartebeest, wildebeest, and impalas among others.

Kenya national parks tour is a mixture of divergent attractions ranging from some mountain Kenya parks to savannah parks. From arid thorny and scorchy Kenya national parks in the north to the lush green and dense vegetation parks at the coast. A proper Kenya animal tour should be at least 4-8 days long so as to be able to have ample time to sample more than two national parks. It actually makes more economic sense to spend that amount of time given the high cost of air tickets to Kenya in Africa. Some of the most popular Kenya animal parks tours include:

Law of Vibration – the Key to Understanding the Law of Attraction

Of all the universal laws, the law of attraction is both the most fascinating and the most misunderstood. Fascinating, because as humans we naturally want a tool to help create the life of our dreams, and the law of attraction can certainly help us to do that. Misunderstood because, unlike a tool that we can pull out and use now and again but is otherwise inactive, the law of attraction is operating in our lives constantly and independently, whether we are consciously aware of it, or believe in it, or not.

In other words, there is no need to engage the law of attraction, it is already at work in your life and always will be. So long as you are alive and breathing, the law of attraction is at work. This is great news! You are already using the law of attraction to create everything in your life whether you realise it or not. The results that you are experiencing: your career, finances, relationships, health, home, community, and so on, are a direct result of the law of attraction and your interaction with it in the form of thoughts and feelings.

If you’re not creating the kind of life you want though, chances are you are creating by default, allowing the law of attraction to bring you more and more of the same. Unfortunately, we weren’t handed a life manual at birth and, for many of us, our parents were not aware of the law of attraction and so did not teach us.  At Attract Like Magic we are dedicated to helping you understand this powerful universal law and how you can begin to use the law of attraction to consciously create the life of your dreams. On the Attract Like Magic site, and in upcoming newsletters and articles, we will explore everything to do with the law of attraction and provide tools that will help you to harness its power.

But in order to really understand the law of attraction, you first need to understand another of the universal laws, the law of vibration.

Law of Vibration

According to the law of vibration everything is made of energy and has a distinct frequency or vibration. With the advent of powerful enough technology, science now agrees. Quantum physicists have shown that, although matter may appear to be solid, when you look at it through a high-powered microscope so that it is broken down into its smallest components: molecules, atoms, neutrons, electrons and quanta (the smallest particles measurable), it is ultimately mostly empty space interspersed with energy.

In other words, at the quantum level, everything is comprised of energy and empty space and what makes you, your home, your car, the chair you’re sitting in, seem solid is the frequency of the vibration of the energy that makes it up.

Not only does your body and all that you consider to be “you” have a distinct and unique vibration (or more correctly a mix of vibrations), but your creations, in the form of thoughts, also have distinct vibrations which affect or blend with your overall vibration.

In turn, your vibrations affect everything around you – your environment, the people and animals around you, the inanimate objects, even the seemingly ‘empty’ space and they, in turn, affect you. That’s why, when you walk into a room where there was an earlier argument, you can sense it. We even use terms like “bad vibes”, “you can feel the tension”, and “you could cut the air in here with a knife” to describe it. In each case what we are referring to is the energy imprint of the earlier occupants.

Similarly, you may have gone to someone’s home, office or business where, as soon as you entered, you felt the “good vibes” that filled the place. That’s because, over time, a place becomes imbued with the energy imprints of the dominant vibrations of the people who live or work there. So a home, for example, can literally become filled with love or tension or anger or sadness or any other emotion, and that home will feel that way to a visitor even if none of the regular occupants are at home at the time. If you’ve ever entered such a place you may even have noticed how you just relaxed and felt good in response to the “good vibes” around you. Of course, the extent to which you take on the vibrations of the people and things around you is up to you – but for most people, this is not a conscious decision.

So, you are giving off vibrations every second of every day. You are also simultaneously receiving and translating the vibrations of everything and everyone around you. If we use the analogy of television, you are both a television transmitter, beaming out your own unique station, and also a television set or receiver, able to tune in to all the stations or frequencies being broadcast around you. Sometimes we refer to these incoming vibrations as intuition or “gut feelings”.

So how do you know what your vibration is at any moment?

Simple – ask yourself how you are feeling.

Your emotions are a quick and handy guide to your vibration in any moment. If you feel loving, you are vibrating at the frequency of love; if you feel angry, you are vibrating at the frequency of anger; if you feel curious, you are vibrating at the frequency of curiosity, and those vibrations are received by everything and everyone around you. You are also, through the law of attraction, bringing to you more experiences that will match this vibration so when you feel angry the law of attraction will bring to you more experiences that will elicit the feeling of anger, you will attract angry people and find yourself in the middle of angry situations.

Have you ever had a day where you felt lousy, but tried to pretend that everything was OK to family, friends or co-workers? It doesn’t work does it? Your friends, family or co-workers know straight away that you are not how you are pretending to be. They may ask if something is wrong, or comment that you don’t seem to be your normal self. They pick up on the incongruence between what you are saying and your vibration. Because we are not used to explaining in terms of vibrations, they may attribute their knowing to something more mundane like tone of voice or body language, but even people without the full use of their senses can detect this type of incongruence.

To sum up, you are sending out vibrations every moment of every day. Those vibrations are a mix of your thoughts and feelings and they affect everything around you. At the same time you are also receiving and translating the vibrations of everything around you (which can, in turn, affect your vibration by how you react to them). Now that we understand vibration, let’s look at how it interacts with the law of attraction.

Law of Attraction

The law of attraction, simply put, means energy attracts like energy. You may also have heard it expressed as “like attracts like’, “that which is like unto itself is drawn” and even “thoughts become things”.

The law of attraction is at work in your life every minute of every day. Your vibrations are constantly being broadcast to, and received, by the universe. This activates the law of attraction which then matches your vibrations and attracts to you similar vibrations in the form of people, things and situations in your life. In other words you are always creating your life through your thoughts and feelings. The conditions in your life, whether they are what you want or not, are always a match to your dominant vibrations.

The law of attraction, like all the universal laws, operates whether you are aware of it or not, or believe it or not. The often-used terms “what you focus on grows”, “careful what you wish for (cause you just might get it)”, “birds of a feather flock together” and “you can’t get enough of what you don’t want” are all examples of ways that we describe the law of attraction in action.

So, the question becomes – if your life is not how you would wish it to be, how do you change it? And the answer most often given by law of attraction and personal development teachers is a simple one – change your thoughts.

Simple – yes, but not easy. Here’s why.

Somewhere between 94 – 98% of all thoughts are subconscious, that is, below or out of conscious awareness which means that only 2 – 6% of your thoughts are ever conscious. So, even if you managed to change all of your conscious thoughts to be positive, that still leaves an awful lot of subconscious thought, at least some of which would be negative, vibrating away in the background without you even being aware of it! If you’re having trouble creating what you want in life, chances are your subconscious mind is at fault.

In our next article we will explore the subconscious mind and how it can interfere with your Law of Attraction efforts.

Why travel insurance is important

I am a citizen of Australia. After 10 years myself and my family wanted to go to Singapore. I did not at the time no anything about travel insurance and I thought the risk of any problems due to accidents, sickness is very minimal. However, before travel to Singapore my daughter became sick. As I did not know anything about travel insurance I wanted to abandon the travel plan. Fortunately, my wifes brother gave me a suggestion to take a travel insurance, which covers the possible risks particularly the possibility of sickness, evacuation, cancellation and accidents. He also advised me to shop around so that I can compare the premiums for the risk covered and also compare the reputation of these companies and experience in travel insurance. I followed his advise because he normally travel abroad for holidays than me and he is very experienced in all overseas travel planning. I took a travel insurance and booked plane tickets and and arranged all travel plans through a travel agent. We went to Singapore and within three days by daughter continued to suffer from her illness. She was hospitalized and I contacted my travel insurance company and they processed my claims quickly and paid all the medical expenses. If I did not take travel insurance I would not have met these expenses and I only have the option to mortgage my house or sell my house to pay these bills. As well, I have to rebuild my life again and have to live in rental property.

As my experience shows that even you get all protection for sickness and even you have slight possibility of getting sick there is a risk, which can cost you, which you cannot afford and you have to rely on your family members or friends to meet these expenses and even it may cost selling or mortgaging your home. In addition, when buying travel insurance do not buy cheap travel insurance because it may not cover all risks and you have to pay by your own pocket. As well, always shop around to get the best deal or consider value for money as a criteria when you buy travel insurance. In Australia, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade advise all overseas travel insurance and advises if one cannot afford travel insurance then not to travel is the best option.

As in todays world people travel often than ever before and diseases can also travel with them and sickness can happen even you are healthy when you are overseas. Bird flue is a classic example of how sickness can travel one one part of the globe to another and affect most population including the traveling passengers. Even though the risks are small its consequences if any event materializes is very costly. There fore in the contemporary uncertain world it is better to take travel insurance because of peace of mind as well as to be financially secure and manage the risks prudently. In my experience, travel insurance is vital when planning for holidays work overseas or world travel in the uncertain world we live in. Many things can go wrong and risks may increase or reduce very quickly when you are overseas there fore this another reason to take travel insurance when you travel abroad.

What is the best form of travel?

Today there are many options for you choose from when you need to travel. The method you opt to take will probably be contingent upon several factors. Before deciding which system of traveling you should take, it is a good idea to determine your needs and how fast you have to get to where you need to go.

The most common forms of travel are car, bus, train, airplane or perhaps even a boat. There are pros and cons associated with each method of traveling and for the most part the “best” form of travel is dependent upon the reason for your journey.

At times it will be best to fly, other times a car, bus or train would be more appropriate. This can vary dependent up on whether you are commuting, taking a leisure trip, faced with an unexpected necessary trip or are going on business travel.

*Commuting travel

If you are commuting every day to work or school typically a car, bus or train is the way to go. Taking public transportation is often cheaper and more efficient, but if your destination is not near any bus or train station it may be necessary to take a car in order to commute.

When deciding which form of travel is best for commuting you should consider the cost effectiveness and feasibility of each. It is a good idea to calculate cost, time and convenience when deciding which course of travel to take.

*Leisure travel

Leisure travel is probably the most flexible for travel because you are taking the trip for pleasure and can pretty much map your journey according to your own preference and time schedule. For the leisure traveler any form of transportation can be appealing.

Flying is often a popular choice, especially if the distance is significant. Taking the airlines saves a considerable amount of time if you are traveling many miles and gives you more time on your vacation and you are less tired when you get there as opposed to driving; the down side is flying can be rather expensive.

Other travelers prefer the feel of the open road and like to experience different views and scenery as they travel to their destination and for these travelers often a car is most appealing. Driving gives you absolute control and freedom over your trip experience because you can stop off at any location along the way.

Busses and trains are usually also a good choice because you can see more of the scenery and it is less expensive. The down side is you have no control over taking a break or stopping along the way, but the plus side is you can nap or relax along the way because someone else is doing the driving.

*Necessary travel

There are also times when a trip comes up unexpectedly and you may not have a lot of time or flexibility in getting to your destination. Some reasons you may need to travel are for a family medical emergency or a funeral and the method of travel you choose must be able to get you to your destination in a timely fashion. In these cases driving for close locations or flying for distant locales may be your best bet.

*Business travel

The business traveler may or may not have some flexibility; the may also be required to take precise travel options in order for the company to organize travel or reimburse travel expenses. When choosing the best form of travel for business purposes it is best you check with your company’s travel coordinator to see if there are any requirements or constraints which bounds you to a specific type of travel.

Ultimately when choosing the best form of travel it is best to consider finances, time, convenience, comfort and personal preference. There are pros and cons associated with most kinds of travel and what’s “best” is likely to vary depending upon the reason for your need to travel.
